Our trip was wonderful; we took the bus to Guayaquil from Cuenca ($8.00 per person) and went to Jipijapa ($3.50 per person) and $1.50 to Puerto Lopez. I'm going to do a blog post on our bus experience, which was great: air-conditioning, reclining seats, his and her bathrooms (immaculate!); free snacks and a movie! I'm sorry, I don't even get that on the airplane! My favorite part of the trip was Los Frailes (pristine beach) and as close to paradise as you get!
